The Lightspace Play Wall combines the latest in interactive technology with software controlled content that will provide hours of fun and exercise for kids and adults of all ages and abilities. The system is capable of storing and running a potentially limitless variety of games and interactive programs that can be used by multiple participants simultaneously. The Lightspace Play Wall creates an engaging experience that will draw young children, teenagers and adults to activities what will excite and entertain them, all while keeping them active and fit. The Play Floor is controlled and powered via the Lightspace Console.
Geared toward players of varying ages and skill levels, each game, whether single player or multiplayer, offers unique challenges and exciting game play. | Splat -Throw the ball or hit the wall producing a “splat” of color with each hit. Try to fill the whole area before the time runs out. |
| Smash Ball - Choose your color and throw the ball or hit your colored targets. Earn points for each target hit. |
| Color Crazy - Color Crazy: Match your color to the color displayed in the center of the wall. Try not to lose control! |
| Turbo Tag - Follow the targets tagging each one as they appear. Get used to the rhythm and move as fast as you can. |
| Direct Hit - The Lightspace version of racquetball or squash. The target in the center of the wall changes color back and forth between the two colors assigned to the players or teams. When it is your color, hit the target with the ball. It will then switch to the color of the other team or player. They must grab the ball and hit the target before it changes back. The object of the game is to hit the target when it is your color and make it as difficult as possible for your opponent to catch the ball after your throw. |

This past week I attended the Club Industry 2008 tradeshow in Chicago, IL and had a chance to play the Lightspace Play system for my very first time. This product is extremely fun, engaging and offers a great alternative to traditional fitness kids seem to shy-away from.
