Gamercize interacts with your game console’s controller stopping it working when you are not exercising and letting you play normally when you are exercising.
Gamercize does not limit game play by physical skill or ability, and does not make games harder to control. Gamercize can work with any type of exercise machine but cycle and stepper are the best choice, as these machines leave your hands free to operate the controller. Next Generation Home Gym Gamercize provides the motivation for keeping fit at home. Minimal interaction gives the flexibility to play any game the way it was designed to be played, and the ultimate distraction from physical effort.
Choose between the cycle or stepper for endurance training or maximum cardo fitness benefit. Keep exercising to maintain gameplay, stop and you will be prompted to get moving again to continue playing. You will exercise longer and harder when exercise is fun, so take the challenge and enjoy the results with the GZ Pro-Sport by Gamercize.
GZ Pro-Sport Functions Exercising at a steady rate will ensure the Gamercize unit detects the movement of your chosen exercise machine. Stop exercising or your exercise rate is detected above or below the allowed level then your games console will react in one of the following ways:
A message is displayed indicating that the controller has been unplugged OR the game will continue and ignore the controller. Start exercising and you will be able to resume the game from where you left off.
Using the keypad on the GZ Pro-Sport, select the level of effort to suit your own abilities.
Gentle : Always start at this level to warm up and cool down properly.
Skill : With practice reach the challenge level for physical and mental co-ordination. Fitness : Ice blue indicates you have reached a real cardio fitness level.
Power : The utimate level to sustain for extended play and sports ability. Play : When your workout is finished, play without exercise to the next save point.

Gamercize® Power Stepper™ gives fast results and increases sports co-ordination.
Adjustable height stepping enables you to make it as easy or as hard as you like to exercise. The exercise computer records your statistics, you'll be amazed how much work you've done just by playing games.

Frequently Asked Questions
1) Is it not better for kids to play outside? There has been a lot of pressure on children to spend more time exercising. We have found children would rather play than exercise, and we think play should always involve physical effort. Gamercize gives children the play they want, with exercise that they readily accept.
2) What are the health benefits? Burning up to 650 calories per hour with the GZ Power Stepper, 500 calories per hour with the GZ Endurance Cycle, increases metabolism and raises heart rate. Children's calorie burn will be less due to lighter weight than adults, but increased fitness will be obvious.
3) Will exercising while playing games improve behavior? There has been no study published to prove a link, however, the physical outlet of Gamercize makes playing video games more aligned with traditional play. Gamercize can encourage social and traditional play through increasing ability and energy.
4) How does the GZ Sport work with online gaming, like Xbox Live? In offline mode playing the Xbox when you stop exercising the game is paused until you restart exercising. When playing online only your controller input is suspended, while the game continues unaffected for the other online players.
5) How much weight will I lose playing games? Weight loss is dependant on the individual; ask your Doctor or Fitness Instructor how many extra calories a week you need to burn to give a sustainable weight loss. As a rough guide it is possible to sustain a weight loss of 10 lbs per game played.
6) What controller do I need to use with the GZ Sport? We recommend only official controllers are used with the GZ Sport, as we cannot guarantee the functionality of every third party manufactured controller.
7) What is the weight and age limits for the exercise machines? There is no weight limit using the machines while seated. We recommend a minimum age of around 10 years old, depending on the child’s abilities, for both exercise machines. When standing the GZ Power Stepper weight limit is 100kg, or about 220lbs.
8) Is a low-calorie diet going to give faster results? Low calorie diets are very dangerous for children, and should never been undertaken without sound paediatric advice. Eating less may cause an initial weight loss, but without increased fitness and raised metabolism from exercise, the weight will return.
9) How does Gamercize help me get better at sport? Sports fitness involves not only physical conditioning, but awareness and co-ordination. When used with the GZ Power Stepper, Gamercize products involve all aspects of co-ordination, balance, strategy, decision making and physical fitness. Your sports performance can be improved by adding Gamercize to your training.
10) Can the GZ Sport be used at school? Yes, the rugged design of the GZ Sport is ideal for a schools environment. Several schools have already chosen the GZ Sport for its low cost and excellent availability of budget games. Schools already using DDR also benefit from having a ready-to-go PS2 for the GZ Sport to be used with.
