The Lightspace Play Wall combines the latest in interactive technology with software controlled content that will provide hours of fun and exercise for kids and adults of all ages and abilities. The system is capable of storing and running a potentially limitless variety of games and interactive programs that can be used by multiple participants simultaneously. The Lightspace Play Wall creates an engaging experience that will draw young children, teenagers and adults to activities what will excite and entertain them, all while keeping them active and fit. The Play Floor is controlled and powered via the Lightspace Console.

Geared toward players of varying ages and skill levels, each game, whether single player or multiplayer, offers unique challenges and exciting game play. Games include everything from throwing balls at moving targets, to cardio workouts where users follow and activate different points on the surface. All games have scoring systems that give users instant feedback with individual goals to achieve.

Lightspace™ Play includes an interactive floor surface comprised of 16”x16” programmable LED lit and pressure sensitive tiles constructed to fit a 10 foot square space. Each tile consists of sixteen 4” x” 4” pixels that can display any color, pattern or image. The surface is able to detect location, movement and density of players to give a realistic gaming experience. Reactions to player movements are displayed on the surface and are accompanied by sound effects.

The system, Lightspace™ is capable of storing and running a potentially limitless variety of LED games and interactive LED programs that can be used by any number of participants simultaneously. Lightspace creates an engaging experience that will draw young children, teenagers and adults alike. The Lightspace™ Play software is housed in a durable kiosk station that is located next to the platform. Kiosks can be formatted to collect different forms of payment (i.e. coins, tokens, bills, credit or magnetic token cards) and to distribute coupons if Lightspace™ Play is used as a redemption game. The Play software not only stores and runs a vast array of games, but also provides a simple touch screen interface for players to choose and pay for the games they wish to play. New games can be downloaded quickly and easily to the system enabling entertainment center managers to keep their Play system up to date and its appeal fresh without the need to purchase new hardware.

The Lightspace Play WallThe Lightspace Play Wall includes an interactive surface made up of LED-lit and pressure-sensitive tiles constructed to fit an 8’ by 4’ (2,44m x 1,2m) footprint. Each tile is 16” by 16” and 2.5 inches thick (406mm x 406mm x 61mm).

The tiles are able to detect the location, movement and force of participants or objects, creating a realistic gaming experience with instant feedback displayed on the surface or through sound effects.

Lightspace Play Console and Tile Descriptions

The Lightspace Console is the controller to you Lightspace Play system. Connected directly to the Play floor, the cabinet holds everything needed to run your Lightspace Play Surface: Control Station, Speaker System, Power Supply, Touch Screen monitor, and Coin Op mechanism (optional). Just connect the Consol into a regular 110 outlet and your system is ready to go.

Lit using surface mounted L.E.D.s, the individual pixels have a very long life expectancy and are very energy efficient. Average L.E.D. will last approximately 50,000 hours and uses approx. 10 volts of power.

Each tile is FCC, CE, ETL, and RoHs compliant.

Adaptable to any age group.

Players and parents can choose the games that are most interesting and appropriate. Game types range from simple to difficult, educational to competitive, and can involve one or multiple players. Entertainment Centers that cater to adult functions can transform their Lightspace™ Play surface into a state of the art interactive dance floor, which can display different effects synchronized to music and react to dancers movements.
